Marilyn Brant Chandler DeYoung has been elected to the board of directors of Californians for Population Stabilization. Mrs. DeYoung served as an executive or partner in several Southern California architect/planning firms and was president of Marilyn Brant & Associates. She served on the board of Population Crisis Committee for 23 years and on the board of Population Communications Inc. for seven years. She founded and chaired the nonprofit Population Education Committee. Mrs. DeYoung earned a master’s degree in urban planning from UCLA. She lives in Carpinteria with her husband, Patrick Lyons DeYoung.
