Tucker Carlson Points Out The Negative Effect Mass Migration Has on the Environment

Published on January 7th, 2019

For decades environmentalists drew attention to the negative impact that unsustainable population growth in the United States had on our environment. The connection was clear – population growth contributed to the overuse of resources, urban development, and pollution.

The population debate changed when population growth in the United States shifted from the domestic birthrate to growth via mass migration.

Fox News host Tucker Carlson recently had Phil Cafaro, author of How Many Is Too Many? The Progressive Argument for Reducing Immigration into the United States, on his program to discuss the environmental case for reducing immigration to the U.S.

Carlson and Cafaro also discussed why the environmental movement has largely abandoned the population growth issue after mass immigration became the largest contributor to population growth in America.

Tucker’s segment was refreshing to watch and demonstrated how conservatives like Carlson and progressives like Cafaro can find consensus on immigration and population issues.
