Sabine Durden, whose son Dominic was killed in 2012 by an unlicensed Guatemalan alien with a prior felony and two DUIs, said that during Senator Chuck Grassley’s hearing on sanctuary cities, some senators paid little attention, read paperwork and were even “nodding off.” Watch Durden’s account here.

Dominic, a Riverside sheriff’s office dispatcher, was killed by Juan Tzun Lopez after the unlicensed, uninsured Guatemalan national crashed into his motorcycle. These are the complete ugly details of Dominic’s death.
In June, Ms. Durden wrote to President Obama demanding to know why he repeatedly invites illegal aliens to the White House. Durden inquired: “When do legal citizens who have been deeply affected by this immigration issue get a chance to share their side of the story with you?” Ms. Durden then asked for an audience with Obama, a request that to date has not been acknowledged.
Recently, Mexican illegal alien Juan Emmanuel Razo allegedly attempted to rape his 14-year-old niece, wounded a woman, then shot and killed 60-year-old Margaret Kostelnik in her home. U.S. Customs and Border Protection had advised Ohio Sheriff’s deputies to release Razo three weeks before his shooting rampage. Kostelnik is the latest victim, but will certainly not be the last. The Remembrance Project has posted a partial list of Americans killed by aliens that dates back to 1995.
Obama has vowed to veto legislation that would defund sanctuary cities. The president’s nonenforcement practices ensure that criminal aliens will continue to commit capital crimes against American citizens.
