CAPS eNews and Action

At a time when the fundamental idea of American interests is returning to public life — we applaud the overdue review of mass immigration!

Rapid population growth continues to erode our quality of life and further degrade our natural resources year by year. To curb unsustainable mass immigration, the new administration is taking bold steps so far, including:

Increasing resources for both border security and under-staffed immigration courts.
Attorney General Jeff Sessions taking a clear stand against cities that flippantly treat ICE as if it's optional, true to his word.
And perhaps most important of all, bringing into question the numbers legally allowed in – finally the potential for a return to historic levels!

It's time for rhetoric to become policy. For this all-important step CAPS is demonstrating that our supporters are not content until they see changes. The Crazy Corner — California Action Alert
California bill, SB 54, which would make California a Sanctuary State has passed the Senate and is now in the Assembly. Convicted illegal alien criminals could be shielded from deportation and free to continue to commit crimes in your neighborhood. Share your outrage and help us stop this insanity. Spread our message with others: California should be a sanctuary for Californians not Criminals!

Outreach Campaign
CAPS Board Members were presenters at the This Way to Sustainability XII conference held at Chico State University in March. Board President Ben Zuckerman spoke on Population, Consumption, and Overshoot; and Dick Schneider on Population Growth: Roadblock to Sustainability.

Earth Day, Growth, and Housing
The California-model isn't working. Just last month, a report showed 6 out of the 10 most polluted American cities are in the over-crowded Golden State…

However messy the politics, the administration is moving forward with bold reforms that begin to address some population-driven problems that have festered for decades. We look forward to ensuring this potential for change translates into lasting immigration sanity.
