Feds Funded Laundry and Other Personal Services for Illegal Aliens

The federal government provided illegal aliens with free laundry and a variety of other personal services, according to a new report.

“Immigrants were given the option of meat at every meal, 24-hour access to drinks and snacks, babysitters to watch their children, television with programming in English and Spanish, and choices of mattresses for their beds.”

These are just a few of the five-star services provided to illegal aliens housed in hotels during the immigration surge in 2021.

An article in the Washington Times stated the information came from America First Legal, who obtained it through an open records request.

The hotels and services were provided by Family Endeavors Inc. which won no-bid contracts. The Washington Times story pointed out they had no experience with contracts of this size or scope.

Reed D. Rubinstein, a lawyer for American First Legal, warned that this is how you incentivize illegal immigration.

“You can rest assured that tales of free television and so forth are making their way back to other countries and helping to stimulate immigration,” Mr. Rubinstein said.

No one is opposed to treating human beings with dignity. Providing food and shelter is not what’s in dispute here, and something our country has always done for those apprehended without immigration documentation.

The issue is the five-star, taxpayer funded treatment provided to these non-citizens, while our own citizens suffer. We have veterans who have served this nation who are struggle to get by, homeless Americans sleeping on the street, and millions of Americans suffering due to inflation.

We should take care of our own citizens first, instead of giving concierge packages to those who entered the country illegally. 

With incentives like this, is it any wonder we’re in the worst border crisis in the history of our country?
